Job Description
The Water Industry Specialist at Esri is a GIS expert responsible for developing industry-specific content, promoting GIS solutions within the water resources sector, and supporting marketing and engagement efforts to drive adoption and growth of Esri's GIS technology in the water industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert in GIS applications within the water industry
- Develop and deliver content such as webinars, customer stories, white papers, blogs, and social media to promote GIS in water resources
- Support industry-focused events including conferences, tradeshows, webinars, and user group meetings
- Foster community growth on social media and online collaboration platforms
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, product, and partner teams to execute industry engagement campaigns
- Research industry trends and competitive landscape to support strategic positioning and growth
- Deepen GIS domain expertise and provide guidance to internal stakeholders, partners, and customers
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in water resources, hydraulic modeling, data analysis, or engineering.
- Knowledge of GIS and its application within the water industry.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities.
- Quick learner with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, critical thinking, and creativity skills.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, geography, engineering, or a related field.

Base salary range of $87,360 to $139,360 USD
