Job Description
The role involves providing thought leadership and strategic messaging on the value of GIS and geospatial technology in the telecommunications industry, including developing content, analyzing industry trends, and collaborating with teams to drive awareness and adoption of ArcGIS solutions globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver thought leadership content such as webinars, case studies, collateral, social media programs, videos, and event plans to demonstrate the value of ArcGIS in telecommunications.
- Research, analyze, and monitor industry and technological trends to identify market opportunities.
- Support strategic opportunities as a subject matter expert and collaborate with account managers to increase penetration in key accounts.
- Work with industry and marketing teams to develop and implement global tactical and strategic messaging.
- Stay informed on the competitive landscape and participate in joint value messaging with industry executives.
Requirements
- 8 years of demonstrated leadership and practical experience working in telecommunications or closely related organizations
- Demonstrated geospatial innovation and advanced use of software technology
- Proven executive leadership experience with the ability to strategize, inspire, and achieve goals
- Strong experience working in multi-discipline teams with proven ability to collaborate, communicate, and influence business and technical audiences
- Widely known, respected, and influential in your industry
- Demonstrated excellence in written communication and presentation abilities
- Demonstrated understanding of marketing purpose and tactics
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally
- Bachelor's degree in geography, GIS, business administration or related field
