Job Description
This role involves providing thought leadership and strategic expertise in geospatial technology to the renewable energy industry, promoting the value of GIS solutions like ArcGIS to support the growth and innovation of renewable energy projects worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver thought leadership content such as webinars, case studies, collateral, social media, videos, and event plans demonstrating the value of ArcGIS in renewable energy.
- Research, analyze, and monitor industry and technological trends to identify market opportunities.
- Support strategic initiatives as a subject matter expert and collaborate with account managers to increase market penetration.
- Work with industry and marketing teams to develop global tactical and strategic messaging.
- Provide competitive and customer insights to the sales team and participate in joint value messaging with industry executives.
- Engage with technology teams to ensure GIS tools meet industry-specific needs.
Requirements
- 8 years of experience at renewable energy or closely related organizations with demonstrated geospatial innovation and advanced use of software technology
- Executive leadership experience with the ability to strategize, inspire, and achieve goals
- Strong experience working in multi-discipline teams with proven ability to collaborate, communicate, and influence business and technical audiences
- Widely known, respected, and influential in your industry
- Demonstrated excellence in written communication and presentation abilities
- Demonstrated understanding of marketing purpose and tactics
- Ability and willingness to travel both domestically and internationally as needed
- Bachelor's degree in geography, business, or a similar field
