Job Description
This role involves providing thought leadership and strategic expertise in geospatial technology and GIS within the renewable energy industry, developing industry messaging, supporting market opportunities, and collaborating with teams to demonstrate the value of ArcGIS in renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver thought leadership content such as webinars, case studies, collateral, social media, videos, and event plans demonstrating the value of ArcGIS in renewable energy.
- Research, analyze, and monitor industry and technological trends to identify market opportunities.
- Support strategic initiatives as a subject matter expert and collaborate with account managers to increase market penetration.
- Work with industry and marketing teams to develop and implement global tactical and strategic messaging.
- Provide insights on competitors and customer needs to the sales team and participate in joint value messaging with industry executives.
- Stay informed on the competitive landscape and contribute to industry discussions to promote GIS solutions.
Requirements
- 8 years of experience at renewable energy or closely related organizations with demonstrated geospatial innovation and advanced use of software technology
- Executive leadership experience with the ability to strategize, inspire, and achieve goals
- Strong experience working in multi-discipline teams with proven ability to collaborate, communicate, and influence business and technical audiences
- Widely known, respected, and influential in your industry
- Demonstrated excellence in written communication and presentation abilities
- Demonstrated understanding of marketing purpose and tactics
- Ability and willingness to travel both domestically and internationally as needed
- Bachelor's degree in geography, business, or a similar field

Base salary range of $108,160 to $180,960 USD
