Job Description
The role involves providing thought leadership and strategic support to promote the value of GIS and ArcGIS in the renewable energy industry, including developing industry content, analyzing market trends, and collaborating with teams to drive adoption and demand for geospatial solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver thought leadership content such as webinars, case studies, collateral, social media, videos, and event plans to demonstrate the value of ArcGIS in renewable energy.
- Research, analyze, and monitor industry and technological trends to identify market opportunities.
- Support strategic opportunities as a subject matter expert and collaborate with account managers to increase penetration in key accounts.
- Collaborate with industry and marketing teams to develop global tactical and strategic messaging.
- Provide insights on competition and customer needs to the sales team and participate in joint value messaging with industry executives.
- Stay informed on the competitive landscape and contribute to industry discussions to promote GIS solutions.
Requirements
- 8 years of experience at renewable energy or closely related organizations with demonstrated geospatial innovation and advanced use of software technology
- Executive leadership experience with the ability to strategize, inspire, and achieve goals
- Strong experience working in multi-discipline teams with proven ability to collaborate, communicate, and influence business and technical audiences
- Widely known, respected, and influential in your industry
- Demonstrated excellence in written communication and presentation abilities
- Demonstrated understanding of marketing purpose and tactics
- Ability and willingness to travel both domestically and internationally as needed
- Bachelor's degree in geography, business, or a similar field
