Job Description
This role involves developing thought leadership and strategic messaging to promote the value of GIS and ArcGIS for nonprofit organizations, leveraging industry expertise to drive awareness, support market opportunities, and collaborate with teams globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver thought leadership content such as webinars, case studies, collateral, social media programs, videos, and event plans to demonstrate the value of ArcGIS to nonprofit organizations
- Research, analyze, and monitor industry and technological trends to identify market opportunities
- Support strategic initiatives as a subject matter expert and collaborate with account managers to increase penetration in key accounts
- Work with industry and marketing teams to develop and support global tactical and strategic messaging
- Stay informed on the competitive landscape and participate in joint value messaging with industry executives
Requirements
- 8 years of experience working in nonprofit or closely related organizations
- Bachelor's degree in geography, business, or related field
- Demonstrated geospatial innovation and advanced use of software technology
- 5 years of executive leadership experience with the ability to strategize, inspire, and achieve goals
- 5 years of experience working in multi-discipline teams with proven ability to collaborate, communicate, and influence business and technical audiences
- Demonstrated excellence in written communication and presentation abilities
- Demonstrated understanding of marketing purpose and tactics
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally
