Job Description
The GIS Industry Solutions Manager at Esri is a thought leader responsible for promoting GIS technology's role in modernizing government spatial data infrastructure, developing industry strategies, and engaging with stakeholders through thought leadership, events, and collaborations to drive awareness and demand globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent Esri as a thought leader at industry events and forums.
- Develop and deliver thought leadership content to build awareness and engagement.
- Establish and maintain relationships with industry associations, user groups, and thought leaders.
- Research and analyze industry, technology, and market trends to identify opportunities.
- Develop industry messaging and go-to-market strategies for Esri solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategies, campaigns, and initiatives.
- Engage with customers, partners, and influencers to promote success stories and strengthen relationships.
- Provide industry insights and competitive intelligence to internal teams to inform product and sales strategies.
Requirements
- Eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience working within a relevant geospatial authority industry with demonstrated leadership and subject matter expertise.
- Recognized as a respected and influential professional within your industry or closely related community.
- Strong knowledge of GIS and Esri technology, including how geospatial capabilities are applied to solve complex, industry-specific problems.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at the executive level, including excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven experience collaborating across multidisciplinary teams, with the ability to influence business and technical stakeholders.
- Strong strategic thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in geography, GIS, information systems, business, or a closely related field.

base salary range of $118,976 to $199,056 USD
