Job Description
This role involves providing thought leadership and strategic expertise in geospatial technology and GIS within the forestry industry, including developing industry messaging, creating content, and collaborating with teams to promote the value of ArcGIS for forestry organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver thought leadership content such as webinars, case studies, social media programs, videos, and event plans demonstrating the value of ArcGIS in forestry.
- Research, analyze, and monitor industry and technological trends to identify market opportunities.
- Support strategic opportunities as a subject matter expert and collaborate with account managers to increase market penetration.
- Work with industry and marketing teams to develop and support global tactical and strategic messaging.
- Provide knowledge about competitors and customer needs to forestry accounts and participate in joint value messaging with industry executives.
Requirements
- Widely known, respected, and influential in your industry
- 8 years of experience at key forestry or closely related organizations with demonstrated geospatial innovation and advanced use of software technology
- Executive leadership experience with the ability to strategize, inspire, and achieve goals
- Strong experience working in multi-discipline teams with proven ability to collaborate, communicate, and influence business and technical audiences
- Demonstrated excellence in written communication and presentation abilities
- Demonstrated understanding of marketing purpose and tactics
- Ability and willingness to travel both domestically and internationally
- Bachelor's degree in forestry, geography, or business
