Job Description
This role involves providing thought leadership and industry expertise in forestry to promote the value of GIS technology, developing strategic content, and collaborating with teams to drive geospatial awareness and adoption within forestry organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver thought leadership content such as webinars, case studies, collateral, social media programs, videos, and event plans demonstrating the value of ArcGIS to forestry organizations
- Research, analyze, and monitor industry and technological trends to identify market opportunities
- Support strategic opportunities as a subject matter expert and collaborate with account managers to increase penetration in key accounts
- Work with industry and marketing teams to develop and support global tactical and strategic messaging
- Provide knowledge about competitors and customer needs to forestry accounts and participate in joint value messaging with industry executives
- Stay current on the competitive landscape and contribute to industry discussions to promote GIS solutions
Requirements
- 8 years of experience at key forestry or closely related organizations with demonstrated geospatial innovation and advanced use of software technology
- Widely known, respected, and influential in your industry
- Executive leadership experience with the ability to strategize, inspire, and achieve goals
- Strong experience working in multi-discipline teams with proven ability to collaborate, communicate, and influence business and technical audiences
- Demonstrated excellence in written communication and presentation abilities
- Demonstrated understanding of marketing purpose and tactics
- Ability and willingness to travel both domestically and internationally
- Bachelor's degree in forestry, geography, or business
