Job Description
This role involves developing and executing marketing strategies to promote Esri's GIS technology within the conservation, natural resources, and environmental sectors, aiming to increase awareness, demand, and market share through industry engagement, campaign management, and community building.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify emerging trends and workflows in conservation, natural resource management, and environmental disciplines supporting market development.
- Develop and execute global go-to-market strategies to drive growth and increase market share.
- Create and manage marketing campaigns, including tactics and internal communications, to meet campaign goals.
- Represent Esri at industry conferences, trade shows, seminars, and events domestically and internationally.
- Establish and maintain relationships with trade associations, user groups, and industry thought leaders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, product development, partners) to deliver campaigns and generate qualified leads.
- Develop industry-specific solutions and offers in collaboration with business development and professional services teams.
- Build and sustain a user community through various channels such as forums, webinars, and conferences.
- Research and lead efforts on strategic industry positioning within conservation and environmental markets.
- Provide product demonstrations and industry expertise for press, analyst briefings, partners, and customers.
Requirements
- Eight (8) years of experience working in the conservation, natural resource management, and environmental management disciplines with demonstrated geospatial innovation and advanced use of software technology.
- Knowledge of GIS and its application within the conservation, natural resource management, and environmental management domains.
- Demonstrated communication skills including written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and strong ability to multi-task activities with shifting priorities.
- Strong decision-making, problem resolution, and creative thinking skills.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, conservation, natural resources, environmental, or a related field.
