Job Description
This role involves advocating for the use of GIS and geospatial technology to enhance conservation efforts, developing thought leadership content, and collaborating with industry experts to promote GIS adoption within conservation organizations worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver thought leadership content demonstrating the value of GIS in conservation through webinars, case studies, social media, videos, and events.
- Research, analyze, and monitor industry and technological trends to inform messaging strategies.
- Support strategic opportunities by providing domain expertise to account managers and industry teams.
- Collaborate with marketing and industry professionals to develop global tactical and strategic messaging.
Requirements
- Widely known, respected, and influential in your industry
- 8 years of experience at key conservation organizations with demonstrated geospatial innovation and advanced use of software technology
- Proven executive leadership experience with the ability to strategize, inspire, and achieve goals
- Solid experience working with multi-discipline teams with proven ability to collaborate, communicate, and influence business and technical audiences
- Demonstrated excellence in written communication and presentation abilities
- Strong understanding of marketing purpose and tactics
- Ability and willingness to travel both domestically and internationally
- Bachelor's degree in conservation, geography, or related field

Base salary range of $108,160 to $180,960 USD
