Job Description
The role involves managing and growing customer accounts by leveraging GIS technology and enterprise solutions to address complex scientific and business challenges within the federal government sector. It requires building relationships, understanding customer needs, and presenting tailored solutions to support technology modernization and operational efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute account management and sales processes for all opportunities.
- Use visual storytelling techniques to propose solutions that meet customer needs.
- Identify key stakeholders and understand customer business drivers and budgeting processes.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospects and existing customers to develop business opportunities.
- Leverage social media and participate in industry events to expand professional network.
- Articulate the value of Esri technology and conduct research to anticipate customer needs and industry trends.
- Collaborate with internal teams to define and implement account strategies.
- Support and support the sales process with enterprise systems and new technology solutions.
Requirements
- Five years of enterprise sales and or relevant consulting or program management experience
- Three years of experience working in or supporting the federal government public sector
- Experience creating partnerships, and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with customers
- Understanding and execution of the sales process, account management, account planning and opportunity strategy creation
- Demonstrated knowledge of enterprise systems and new technology trends, and the ability to translate this into solutions for customers
- Ability to negotiate, present, and support visual storytelling across all levels of an agency
- Ability to travel domestically 25-50%
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, GIS, environmental earth, social and or health science, or a related field

Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: $104,000 - $187,200 USD
Work schedule: Ability to travel domestically 25-50%
