Job Description
This role involves planning, coordinating, and executing corporate events and trade shows to deliver exceptional experiences for users, requiring strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute trade shows and conferences from start to finish
- Manage event logistics, vendor relationships, and ensure seamless event operations
- Communicate and collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful events
- Maintain attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of event planning and execution
- Adapt to unexpected circumstances and problem-solve to address challenges during events
- Anticipate stakeholder needs and proactively prepare for upcoming event requirements
- Stay informed on industry trends and contribute creative ideas to improve event experiences
Requirements
- Three years of experience working in events, or the hospitality industry
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and with a team
- Experience providing deliverables on time against deadlines
- Proven ability to collaborate successfully with internal and external partners
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and collaboration tools such as Workfront
- Previous use of events management software such as Exhibit Force and Rainfocus
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Hospitality management, or related field
- Ability to travel domestically or internationally up to 20%, with travel needs that may vary based on business requirements
