This role involves negotiating and drafting cloud, software, and procurement agreements, supporting the procurement and sales processes, and collaborating with various teams to ensure contractual compliance and risk mitigation within a technology-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Review, draft, and negotiate cloud, software, and procurement agreements with vendors
Draft and negotiate statements of work
Respond promptly to contract work requests and support internal and external customers and suppliers
Collaborate with Esri business teams to ensure contract terms align with business, financial, and risk management objectives
Identify and mitigate potential contractual risks
Streamline negotiation processes and educate stakeholders on contract terms
Requirements
At least 2 years of experience negotiating and drafting agreements
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented, well-organized, analytical, and quick learner
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a collegial, fast-paced environment
Diligent and proactive with sound business judgment and strategic thinking
Ability to manage a significant volume of agreements in a timely manner
Excellent Microsoft Office skills and computer proficiency
Knowledge of Apttus now Conga or Salesforce
Bachelor’s degree in business, contracts administration, legal studies, economics, or a related field

Experience negotiating and drafting cloud, software, and procurement agreements, including statements of work
Experience negotiating technology and services agreements (preferred but not mandatory)
Experience with open-source software and open data licensing considerations (preferred but not mandatory)
Knowledge of privacy, artificial intelligence, and security (preferred but not mandatory)
