Job Description
The Business Development Manager at Esri collaborates with distributors to promote and expand the adoption of Esri's geographic information system technology in the Asia Pacific region, focusing on creating sales opportunities, supporting customer needs, and driving growth through strategic partnerships and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with distributors to co-sell and promote Esri technology.
- Develop opportunity plans to drive sales and expand customer adoption.
- Support and coach distributors in identifying customer needs and designing solutions.
- Demonstrate the value of Esri solutions to customers and prospects.
- Nurture existing enterprise agreements and identify new business opportunities.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of successfully supporting the needs of gathering and designing technical specifications to solve a customer s needs.
- Experience selling enterprise software solutions directly and through a channel.
- Ability to identify appropriate delivery mediums and evoke action from an audience.
- Ability to quickly learn new technology and translate it into solutions that address customer needs.
- Outstanding negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Mastery of English and other languages as needed for verbal and written communication.
- Ability to travel globally 25-50%.
- Understanding of GIS, Esri technology, and infrastructure as they relate to one another.
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field.
