Job Description

This role involves leveraging geospatial technology and industry knowledge to build relationships, develop strategies, and provide solutions for State and Local Government clients, with a focus on expanding the adoption of Esri's GIS solutions through account management, consulting, and sales activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build relationships and develop location strategies for organizations
  • Maintain a pipeline of business growth opportunities with new and existing customers
  • Understand customer needs, industry relevance, and key stakeholders
  • Use solution selling to address customer challenges and demonstrate value of Esri technology
  • Conduct research and professional development to anticipate customer needs and industry trends
  • Execute account management and sales processes to meet sales targets
  • Support visual storytelling and propose solutions through techniques like whiteboard sessions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to define and implement account strategies
  • Travel domestically or internationally as required

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of enterprise sales and or relevant consulting or program management experience related to State and Local government industry.
  • Experience creating partnerships and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with customers.
  • Understanding of account management, account planning, and opportunity strategy creation.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of State and Local government industry and new technology trends, with the ability to translate this into solutions for customers.
  • Ability to negotiate, present, and support visual storytelling across all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (Visa sponsorship is not available).

Base salary range of $93,600 to $176,800 USD
