The Wetlands 404 Expert will assist federal and state clients in implementing all aspects of Section 404 of the Clean Water Act, providing technical expertise and support in wetlands regulation and management within a multidisciplinary consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist federal and state clients in implementing all aspects of Section 404 of the Clean Water Act.
Support the development of similar state programs for non-Waters of the United States.
Provide expertise and guidance on wetlands regulation and permitting processes.
Requirements
Assist federal and state clients in implementing all aspects of Section 404 of the Clean Water Act, including potentially developing similar state programs for non-Waters of the United States.
Highly motivated individual with the skills to prioritize, perform, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated expertise as a Wetlands 404 Expert with the ability to support water implementation and regulatory support activities.
Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams including engineering, science, economics, public health, informational technology, and communications.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the role as required, including potential site visits and fieldwork related to wetlands and water regulation projects.
Experience or knowledge in water regulation, wetlands, and environmental compliance related to Section 404 of the Clean Water Act.
Proficiency in communicating technical information effectively to clients and stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
