A Software Simulation Engineer responsible for providing technical expertise and engineering support for mission-critical test and simulation programs supporting the U.S. Navy at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Indian Head, MD.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical expertise and engineering support for mission-critical test and simulation programs supporting the U.S. Navy.
Develop, implement, and analyze software simulations related to naval systems and operations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and improve simulation models and tools.
Requirements
Provide technical expertise and engineering support as a Software Simulation Engineer at the Naval Surface Warfare Center NSWC Indian Head Division.
Must be highly motivated with the skills to prioritize, perform, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to contribute to mission-critical test and simulation programs supporting the U.S. Navy.
Full-time onsite availability at the Naval Support Facility NSF Indian Head, MD.
Experience with software simulation, modeling, or engineering support related to defense or military applications.
Proficiency in relevant programming languages and simulation tools used in defense testing and modeling.
Ability to work independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams in a research and consulting environment.
Demonstrated ability to perform technical tasks related to software simulation and engineering support in a defense or government setting.
Experience working in or supporting Navy or military-related projects is preferred (implied by the position's focus).
