Job Description
The position involves independently developing mechanical designs for renovations and upgrades of existing buildings at a federal site, with a focus on supporting operations and maintenance of mechanical equipment such as HVAC systems, pumps, compressors, and blowers.
Key Responsibilities

- Support operations and maintenance of building mechanical equipment such as HVAC systems, pumps, compressors, and blowers.
- Collaborate with ERG personnel at the federal site and in other offices to support project execution.
Requirements
- The qualified individual must be highly motivated with the skills to prioritize, perform, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience supporting operations and maintenance of building mechanical equipment such as HVAC systems, pumps, compressors, and blowers.
- Experience independently developing mechanical designs for renovations and upgrades to existing buildings at a federal site.
- Possession of relevant education and/or experience in mechanical engineering (specific degree requirements are not explicitly stated but implied by the role).
- Ability to work full-time at the federal site in Indian Head, MD, with interaction and support from ERG personnel at the federal site, as well as from ERG’s Fairfax and Arlington offices.
