Job Description
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will lead and oversee complex manufacturing operations in an energetic materials production environment, ensuring safety, process improvement, and quality control within a federal site setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee complex manufacturing operations within energetic materials production environment
- Ensure compliance with explosives safety regulations
- Implement process improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency and quality control
- Provide leadership and direction to manufacturing team members
- Coordinate with federal site personnel and ERG offices to support manufacturing activities
Requirements
- The candidate must have a deep understanding of explosives safety regulations.
- The candidate must have exceptional leadership skills.
- The candidate must have a proven track record in process improvement and quality control.
- The candidate must be highly motivated with the skills to prioritize, perform, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- The candidate must be able to lead and oversee complex manufacturing operations within an energetic materials production environment.
- The position requires interaction and support from ERG personnel at the federal site, as well as from ERG s Fairfax and Arlington offices.
