Job Description
A Senior Manufacturing Engineer responsible for leading complex manufacturing operations in energetic materials production, ensuring safety, process improvement, and quality control within a federal site environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee complex manufacturing operations within energetic materials production environment
- Ensure compliance with explosives safety regulations
- Implement process improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency and quality control
- Provide leadership and direction to manufacturing teams
- Coordinate with federal site personnel and ERG offices to support manufacturing activities
Requirements
- The candidate must have a deep understanding of explosives safety regulations.
- The candidate must have a proven track record in process improvement and quality control within manufacturing environments.
- The candidate must have exceptional leadership skills to lead and oversee complex manufacturing operations.
- The candidate must have the skills to prioritize, perform, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- The position requires the ability to lead and oversee manufacturing operations within an energetic materials production environment at a federal site.
- The candidate must be highly motivated and capable of working in a federal site environment located in Indian Head, MD.
- The candidate must have experience working with or supporting manufacturing operations at a federal site or similar regulated environment.
- The candidate must be able to interact and support personnel at the federal site as well as from ERG’s offices in Fairfax and Arlington.
- The candidate must be willing to work at a federal site in Indian Head, MD, which is approximately 30 miles from Washington, DC.
