Job Description
A research scientist responsible for managing air quality monitoring projects, designing and building sampling equipment, and performing field sampling and analysis related to air pollution, with opportunities for travel and collaboration in a multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects and tasks related to air quality measurements and monitoring
- Engineer, design, build, test, and utilize equipment for air sampling and monitoring
- Write work plans, quality assurance project plans, health and safety plans, and reports
Requirements
- The individual must be highly motivated with the skills to prioritize, perform, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- The candidate must have the capability to engineer, design, build, test, and utilize equipment for air sampling and monitoring.
- The candidate must have the capability to write work plans, quality assurance project plans, health and safety plans, and reports for work being performed by ERG.
- Mechanical and fabrication skills are essential to this role.
- Travel to sites for air-related sampling and monitoring will be at most twenty-five to thirty percent.
