Job Description
The Fine Grind Manufacturing SME provides senior technical guidance and subject-matter expertise to ensure operational readiness, safety, and compliance during equipment commissioning, production ramp-up, and sustained operations at the naval facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide senior technical direction and subject-matter expertise to the Safety Office for the fine grind facility.
- Support pre-startup and post-startup activities to ensure operational readiness, safety, and compliance.
- Advise engineering, maintenance, and operations teams during equipment commissioning, production ramp-up, and sustained operations.
Requirements
- Provide senior technical direction and subject-matter expertise to the Safety Office in support of both pre-startup and post-startup activities within the fine grind facility at the Naval Support Facility NSF Indian Head.
- Ensure operational readiness, safety, and compliance within the fine grind facility at NSF Indian Head.
- Advise engineering, maintenance, and operations teams throughout equipment commissioning, production ramp-up, and sustained operations.
- Possess the skills to prioritize, perform, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Be highly motivated and capable of working in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Be willing to work on-site at NSF Indian Head, Maryland.
