Job Description
The Facilities Grounds Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of technicians in transportation, vehicle operations, groundskeeping, and facilities maintenance activities at the Naval Support Facility in Indian Head, Maryland, ensuring smooth operations and effective management of site maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of technicians in transportation and vehicle operations at the Naval Support Facility.
- Coordinate moving cars, trucks, trailers, and containers to support facility and vehicle maintenance.
- Supervise groundskeeping activities and facilities maintenance operations.
Requirements
- The candidate must have the skills to prioritize, perform, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- The candidate must be highly motivated.
- The candidate must be able to lead a team of technicians at the Naval Support Facility in Indian Head, Maryland.
- The candidate's initial focus will be on transportation and vehicle operations, including moving cars, trucks, trailers, and containers to support facility and vehicle maintenance operations.
- The role will expand over time to include supervising groundskeeping and facilities maintenance activities.
