Job Description
The Environmental Specialist supports environmental compliance, planning, and natural resources programs by managing environmental activities, ensuring NEPA and regulatory adherence, and conducting inspections and studies in a fast-paced, onsite role.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage environmental planning activities
- Support National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance
- Conduct environmental inspections and studies
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local environmental regulations
Requirements
- Support environmental compliance, planning, and natural resources programs as an Environmental Specialist.
- Manage environmental planning activities.
- Support National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance.
- Conduct environmental inspections and studies.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
- Possess the skills to prioritize, perform, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Be highly motivated to perform the duties of the position.
- Be able to work full-time onsite at the Surface Combat Systems Center (SCSC) in Wallops Island, VA.
