Job Description
An Engineering Construction Technician provides field-level oversight, technical inspections, and support for construction projects at the Naval Support Facility NSF Indian Head, focusing on monitoring progress, verifying quality, ensuring safety, and assisting with documentation and project close-out.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide field-level construction oversight and technical support for projects.
- Monitor construction progress and verify quality of work.
- Ensure safety compliance on construction sites.
- Assist with documentation and project close-out activities.
- Conduct technical inspections and field verification of construction activities.
- Report on construction status and issues to the Construction Manager.
Requirements
- Provide field-level construction oversight and technical support for projects at the Naval Support Facility NSF Indian Head.
- Work closely with the Construction Manager to monitor construction progress, verify quality, ensure safety, and assist with documentation and project close-out.
- Perform technical inspections, field verification, and reporting related to construction projects.
- Possess the skills to prioritize, perform, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Be highly motivated and capable of working in a full-time onsite position at the Naval Support Facility NSF Indian Head.
