Job Description
An entry-level Fire Protection Engineer supporting the design and evaluation of fire protection and life safety systems for various facilities, with opportunities to gain hands-on experience from concept through construction, primarily supporting a U.S. Navy client.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the evaluation and design of fire protection and life safety systems for various facilities
- Support facility design efforts from concept through construction
- Apply knowledge of applicable codes to fire protection system design
Requirements
- The candidate must have a strong understanding of applicable codes related to fire protection and life safety systems.
- The candidate must be highly motivated with the skills to prioritize, perform, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- The candidate must be willing to learn and eager to gain hands-on experience supporting facility design efforts from concept through construction.
- The candidate must support the evaluation and design of fire protection and life safety systems for new construction, renovations, and existing industrial and administrative facilities.
- The candidate must be an entry-level Fire Protection Engineer, indicating a requirement for minimal professional experience or recent graduation in a relevant field.
