Job Description
The Building Automation Systems (BAS) Technician is responsible for installing, programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining HVAC control systems related to mechanical, electrical, and low-voltage controls at the Naval Support Facility Indian Head, supporting facilities projects with a focus on minor HVAC repairs and system optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform HVAC control systems installation, programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Assist with mechanical, electrical, and low-voltage controls related to HVAC systems.
- Scope, estimate, and plan for minor HVAC repair projects.
Requirements
- The qualified individual must have mid- to senior-level experience in Building Automation Systems (BAS) as a technician.
- The candidate must have the skills to perform HVAC control systems installation, programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks related to mechanical, electrical, and low-voltage controls.
- The candidate should be capable of scoping, estimating, and planning for minor HVAC repair projects.
- The position requires full-time onsite work at the Naval Support Facility NSF Indian Head, MD.
- The candidate must be highly motivated with the skills to prioritize, perform, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
