Job Description
The Boiler Technician is responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing boiler systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient steam and heating operations in compliance with safety standards and regulations at the Naval Support Facility NSF Indian Head.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the operation of boiler systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient steam and heating functions
- Perform maintenance tasks on boiler systems to keep them in optimal working condition
- Repair boiler systems as needed to address malfunctions or issues
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, safety standards, and client requirements during all activities
Requirements
- Support the operation, maintenance, and repair of boiler systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient steam and heating operations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, safety standards, and ERG client requirements in all boiler-related activities.
- Possess the skills to prioritize, perform, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Be highly motivated and capable of performing the duties associated with boiler operation, maintenance, and repair.
