Job Description
The Truck Loadout Operator is responsible for safely loading trucks with sustainable wood bioenergy products, maintaining equipment and safety standards, and ensuring accurate reporting and inventory management in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Load trucks scheduled for delivery and ensure quality, housekeeping, and safety standards are maintained in the loadout area
- Perform and document inspections of equipment, and perform maintenance or coordinate maintenance as needed
- Operate truck loadout equipment, including HMI touchscreen controls, and adjust settings according to product output
- Follow safety procedures and report operational issues promptly
- Maintain accurate reporting and inventory records
- Perform housekeeping to uphold cleanliness and safety standards in the work area
Requirements
- Ability to work multiple shift schedules to support 24x7 operations
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal job instructions
- Proficient in mathematics and measurement
- Ability to work in outdoor environments and occasionally in temperatures above 100 degrees and below 32 degrees
- Willing and able to work in a hot, humid, cold and noisy industrial environment
- Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment
- Willing and able to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day
- Willing and able to work around moving equipment and machinery
- Willing and able to pull and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
- High school diploma or GED
