Job Description
The Truck Loadout Operator is responsible for safely loading trucks, maintaining equipment and safety standards, and ensuring accurate reporting and inventory in a sustainable wood bioenergy production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Load trucks scheduled for delivery
- Perform and document equipment inspections and maintenance
- Operate truck load out equipment and adjust settings as needed
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
- Accurately report and record inventory and operational data
- Communicate operational issues and escalate problems promptly
- Coordinate maintenance and housekeeping activities
Requirements
- Ability to work multiple shift schedules to support 24x7 operations
- Ability to demonstrate mechanical aptitude
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal job instructions
- Proficient in mathematics and measurement
- Must be able to work in outdoor environments and occasionally in temperatures above 100 degrees and below 32 degrees
- Willing and able to work in a hot, humid, cold and noisy industrial environment
- Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment
- Willing and able to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day
- Willing and able to work around moving equipment and machinery
- Willing and able to pull and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Perform and document required inspections of equipment and maintain equipment in good condition
- Operate truck load out equipment including HMI touchscreen and adjust according to product output
- Follow all workplace and job safety procedures
- Confirm all reporting and inventory accurately completed as required
- Communicate operational information and escalate issues promptly for proper resolution
- Enter maintenance work requests as applicable
- Perform coordinate maintenance on equipment per job instructions
- Perform coordinate housekeeping to maintain to required standard
