Key Responsibilities
Plan, develop, and implement maintenance methods and procedures to reduce downtime, minimize operating costs, and optimize use of technicians, materials, and assets.
Partner with manufacturing teams to meet production targets and quality objectives.
Provide technical expertise to reduce machine breakdowns, prevent recurrence, and increase Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF).
Coordinate training for maintenance staff, operators, and team leaders.
Support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) pillars to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
Lead efforts in 5S, Visual Factory, and spare parts management.
Drive improvements during equipment changes, including root cause analysis and hazard identification.
Maintain a maintenance master plan aligned with business goals.
Coordinate support services such as machining, welding, and electrical work.
Ensure compliance with safety, housekeeping, quality, and regulatory standards.
Work in outdoor and industrial environments with potential exposure to heat and dust.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Engineering or related field) with 7+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, or equivalent experience.
Experience managing maintenance teams and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Knowledge of TPM, preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance, and condition-based maintenance.
Strong leadership experience in coaching and developing teams.
Experience using data and monitoring systems to improve reliability.
Ability to set and drive business performance targets.
Familiarity with shop floor systems (PC, PLC, robotics preferred).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to lift, walk, climb, stoop, stand, push, and pull for up to 12 hours.
Ability to work around moving machinery.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must meet all applicable physical and safety standards (ADA, FMLA, etc.).
