Job Description
A remote internship position in Canada where the intern will utilize data analysis, machine learning, and computational biology skills to support drug discovery efforts by transforming natural compounds into medicines. The role focuses on accelerating the development of data-driven solutions in the pharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze data related to natural compounds and drug discovery
- Apply machine learning techniques to accelerate drug development processes
- Utilize computational biology methods to support data-driven solutions in drug discovery
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Computational Biology, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in data analysis, machine learning, and computational biology techniques.
- Ability to work remotely in Canada and communicate effectively in a remote team environment.
- Demonstrated interest or experience in drug discovery, natural compounds, or related biomedical fields.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze large datasets and extract meaningful insights.
- Experience with programming languages commonly used in data science, such as Python or R, is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a team and contribute to a fast-paced, innovative environment.
