Job Description
A senior to principal-level Project Engineer responsible for managing, optimizing design, and leading the execution of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and scalable process development.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, optimize design, and lead the execution of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, construction managers, customers, vendors, authorities, and consultants.
- Document and develop scalable processes, technology, and products related to BESS projects.
Requirements
- Experience as a Project Engineer managing Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects, with a focus on design optimization and project execution.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with project managers, construction managers, customers, outside vendors, authorities having jurisdiction (AHJ), and consultants.
- Proven experience in documenting and building scalable processes, technology, and products related to energy projects.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and leading the execution of energy storage projects, specifically BESS projects.
- Strong understanding of energy asset types, including storage, generation, and hybrid systems, and how to optimize their dispatch, costs, revenues, and overall performance.
- Experience working in a global or multi-regional environment, with the ability to support projects across different locations such as APAC regions.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with diverse stakeholders and document project processes.
- Ability to work remotely, as indicated by the LI-remote requirement.
