The Lead Solutions Architect for Data Centers is responsible for designing power infrastructure from the grid to data center loads, ensuring high reliability, safety, and integration of energy resources to support large-scale, resilient data center operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design of power architecture from grid to data center load, ensuring system reliability and safety.
Own the integration of utility interconnections, high-reliability substations, and medium- and low-voltage distribution systems.
Design and incorporate on-site and co-located generation assets, including renewable energy resources and energy storage systems.
Ensure data center power infrastructure meets availability, resiliency, and safety standards.
Develop and implement reliability philosophy and technical integration strategies for power systems.
Requirements
Experience in leading the design of power architecture from grid to data center load, with individual site loads of approximately 50MW.
Ownership of the design, reliability philosophy, and technical integration of utility interconnections, high-reliability substations, medium- and low-voltage distribution systems, and on-site and co-located generation assets.
Ensuring that data center power infrastructure meets stringent availability, resiliency, and safety requirements.
Experience with integration of distributed energy resources (DERs) such as photovoltaic generation, gas turbines, and battery energy storage systems (BESS).
