Job Description
A Senior Data Engineer responsible for developing and maintaining data solutions for a renewable energy company, supporting their sustainable biomass and hydroelectric power projects. The role involves working within a software engineering team to deliver data-driven insights and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and architectures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements.
- Optimize data workflows for performance and scalability.
Requirements
- Experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on energy sector projects, preferably involving renewable energy sources such as biomass and hydroelectric power.
- Proficiency in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and data architecture to support energy data analytics.
- Strong expertise in data integration, data transformation, and data storage solutions relevant to large-scale energy data environments.
- Experience working in a team environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams including software developers, data scientists, and energy domain experts.
- Ability to work in Poland, Croatia, or Ukraine, indicating the need for flexibility regarding location or remote work arrangements.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering software engineering solutions, including product development, QA, R&D, and technology consulting, with a focus on data engineering tasks.
- Proven track record of working with custom software development projects, ideally within the energy or renewable energy sectors.
