Job Description
A Middle Java Developer role focused on developing software solutions for a large US-based financial services company, specializing in portfolio management, data management, investment accounting, and performance measurement systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial software applications using Java.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement features and improvements.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality and best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Java Developer with at least 3 years of professional experience in software development.
- Solid understanding of Java programming language and related frameworks.
- Experience working on projects related to financial services or financial data management is required.
- Ability to develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications in a professional environment.
- Experience working in a team environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Good understanding of portfolio management, data management, investment accounting, or performance measurement solutions is preferred.
- Proficiency in analyzing and translating business requirements into technical specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in software development tasks.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Willingness to work in Ukraine (Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil) or Poland as per project needs.
