Job Description
The role involves working as a Senior Data Engineer specializing in ETL and Spark to optimize and systematize data flows for a leading US insurance company, ensuring security, governance, and privacy compliance within the company's enterprise ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Optimize, improve, and systematize data flows across the organization
- Ensure data processes comply with security, governance, and privacy protocols
- Develop and maintain ETL pipelines using Spark
- Collaborate with teams to deliver secure, high-quality technology solutions
Requirements
- Experience as a Senior Data Engineer with a focus on ETL processes and Spark technology.
- Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and data flows across enterprise systems.
- Strong knowledge of data security, governance, and privacy protocols and the ability to ensure data solutions fully comply with these standards.
- Demonstrated ability to optimize, improve, and systematize data flows within a large organization.
- Experience working in the insurance industry or with insurance-related data is preferred (implied by the project context).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
