Job Description
A senior mechanical design engineer responsible for leading the design and development of Plasma-Enhanced CVD reactor equipment and related systems for diamond manufacturing, supporting high-visibility R&D projects within the company's innovative tech manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Plasma-Enhanced CVD reactor equipment and related systems for diamond growth and manufacturing
- Lead multiple high-visibility R&D projects within the Reactor Development Group
- Own the mechanical design aspects of reactor systems and ensure their successful development and implementation
Requirements
- Experience leading multiple projects and teams with a strong track record of success in mechanical design engineering.
- Experience designing and developing Plasma-Enhanced CVD reactor equipment and other systems used in the growth and manufacture of diamond.
- Highly experienced and innovative mechanical design engineer capable of leading high-visibility R D projects within the company's Reactor Development Group.
- Ability to serve as a primary owner for the design and development of reactor equipment and systems related to diamond manufacturing.
- Physical ability to use appropriate PPE and follow all safety policies, practices, and procedures, including sitting, standing for long periods, walking, grasping, reaching with hands and arms, lifting below and above shoulders, bending, twisting at the waist, climbing, balancing, stooping, squatting, kneeling, crawling, talking, hearing, seeing, using fine finger manipulation, and completing repetitive motions.
- Physical capability to perform tasks that may require the use of ladders or stairs.
- Physical ability to drive or use foot controls as required for tasks.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
