Job Description

A People Operations Generalist at Diamond Foundry Inc. supports the company's HR functions across multiple U.S. sites, serving as a trusted partner to employees and managers by managing benefits, compliance, and day-to-day HR inquiries, while fostering a supportive, people-first culture in a fast-paced, startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support employees and managers with benefits, compliance, and HR inquiries
  • Ensure HR programs are competitive, compliant, and aligned with company strategy
  • Foster a supportive, people-first workplace culture
  • Assist with onboarding, benefits enrollment, and employee relations
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws

Requirements

  • Experience supporting a workforce across multiple U.S. sites in a People Operations or HR Generalist role.
  • Ability to serve as a trusted partner to employees and managers, guiding benefits, compliance, compensation, and day-to-day HR inquiries.
  • Experience ensuring HR programs are competitive, compliant, and aligned with company strategy.
  • Ability to support and foster a supportive, people-first culture within a fast-moving, startup-style environment.
  • Knowledge of and experience with benefit programs including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and paid and unpaid time off programs.
  • Experience administering or supporting benefits that begin as early as the first day of employment, including medical and vision coverage (retroactive to start date), and dental and voluntary benefits (effective after enrollment).
  • Understanding of legal and regulatory compliance requirements related to employment and HR practices.
  • Ability to operate in compliance with all applicable state and federal laws, including adherence to E-Verify procedures and Form I-9 verification processes.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that include sitting, standing for long periods, walking, grasping, reaching with hands and arms, lifting below and above shoulders, bending, twisting at the waist, climbing, balancing, stooping, squatting, kneeling, crawling, talking, hearing, seeing, using fine finger manipulation, and completing repetitive motions.
  • Physical capability to use ladders or stairs when required.
  • Physical ability to drive or use foot controls when necessary.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
