Job Description
A People Operations Generalist at Diamond Foundry Inc. supports the company's HR functions across multiple U.S. sites, serving as a trusted partner to employees and managers by managing benefits, compliance, and day-to-day HR inquiries, while fostering a supportive, people-first culture in a fast-paced, startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted partner to employees and managers, guiding benefits, compliance, compensation, and HR inquiries
- Support the implementation and management of employee benefit programs
- Ensure HR programs are compliant with legal and regulatory standards
- Foster a supportive, people-first workplace culture
- Assist with day-to-day HR operations across multiple U.S. sites
Requirements
- Support the expanding workforce across multiple U.S. sites by serving as a trusted partner to employees and managers, guiding benefits, compliance, compensation, and day-to-day HR inquiries.
- Ensure that HR programs are competitive, compliant, and aligned with company strategy.
- Thrive in a fast-moving, startup-style environment and enjoy wearing multiple hats across the People function.
- Support employees from the workplace to their personal and home life by providing enrollment opportunities in a variety of benefit programs, including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and paid and unpaid time off programs.
- Provide benefits that begin as early as the first day of employment, with medical and vision coverage retroactive to the start date, and dental and voluntary benefits taking effect once enrollment is completed.
- Support compliance with all applicable state and federal laws, including ensuring manufacturing and engineering departments adhere to the highest standards of legal and regulatory compliance.
- Adhere to physical requirements necessary for manufacturing and engineering departments, including using appropriate PPE, following all safety policies, and performing tasks such as sitting, standing for long periods, walking, grasping, reaching with hands and arms, lifting below and above shoulders, bending, twisting at the waist, climbing, balancing, stooping, squatting, kneeling, crawling, talking, hearing, seeing, using fine finger manipulation, and completing repetitive motions.
- Perform tasks that may require the use of ladders or stairs, driving or foot controls.
- Lift, carry, and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
