Job Description
The Facilities Manager at Diamond Foundry Inc. is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and expansion of the facility, managing a team of engineers and technicians to ensure equipment reliability, optimal performance, and 100% uptime to support the company's innovative diamond manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the upkeep, repair, and addition of new facilities and equipment
- Manage a team of engineers and technicians to ensure equipment reliability and performance
- Optimize equipment utilization to meet production goals and maintain 100% facility uptime
Requirements
- Oversee the upkeep, repair, and new additions to the facility, ensuring equipment reliability and performance.
- Manage a team of engineers and technicians to meet production goals and achieve 100% facility uptime.
- Ensure the facility operates in compliance with all applicable state and federal laws, including safety and regulatory standards.
- Follow all safety policies, practices, and procedures, including the use of appropriate PPE.
- Perform physical tasks that often include sitting, standing for long periods, walking, grasping, reaching with hands and arms, lifting below and above shoulders, bending, twisting at the waist, climbing, balancing, stooping, squatting, kneeling, crawling, talking, hearing, seeing, using fine finger manipulation, and completing repetitive motions.
- Use ladders or stairs as needed for tasks.
- Drive or use foot controls for certain tasks.
- Lift, carry, and push/pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Possess the physical ability to perform the physical demands required for manufacturing and engineering operations, including tasks that may require climbing, balancing, or using foot controls.
- Be authorized to work in the U.S. and complete the Form I-9, with employer participation in E-Verify to confirm employment eligibility.
