Job Description

The Treasury Manager is responsible for managing the company's daily cash flow, banking relationships, and online banking security, ensuring efficient liquidity management and compliance with internal controls in a renewable energy organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily cash positioning, reporting, and liquidity to meet financial obligations.
  • Analyze cash flow forecasts to identify funding needs and excess cash for investment.
  • Review, approve, and process electronic payments such as wire transfers and ACH transactions.
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations and manage bank account analysis statements.
  • Administer online banking portals, managing user access, entitlements, and security controls.
  • Lead the opening and closing of bank accounts, maintaining related documentation and records.
  • Establish and enforce internal controls over treasury activities and bank portal access.
  • Manage banking exceptions and serve as the primary contact for audits related to bank controls.
  • Maintain relationships with financial institutions and collaborate with internal departments.
  • Support treasury management system implementation, enhancements, and special projects.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.
  • A Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or equivalent certification is strongly preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in corporate treasury or cash management, including hands-on experience as a bank portal administrator.
  • Proficiency in NetSuite, online bank portals, and treasury management systems.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills.
  • Strong understanding of cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and financial reporting.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in teams under tight deadlines.
