Job Description

The Salesforce Solutions Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable Salesforce solutions across various clouds and platforms, collaborating with stakeholders and technical teams to support critical business functions and ensure best practices in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, govern, and optimize scalable Salesforce solutions across multiple clouds and custom applications.
  • Translate business requirements into technical architecture, specifications, and data models.
  • Lead technical design, review partner solutions, and ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices and platform limits.
  • Oversee integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems, defining API strategies and data governance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project roadmaps, support solution planning, and ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.
  • Contribute to Salesforce platform governance, monitor performance, and recommend enhancements for scalability and reliability.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of hands-on Salesforce experience, with at least 3 years in a Solutions Architect or Technical Architect capacity.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing complex, multi-cloud Salesforce solutions such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or CPQ.
  • Strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, Flow, and Salesforce configuration.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce integration patterns including REST and SOAP APIs, middleware, and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience with data modeling, ETL tools, and data migration strategies.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
  • Must be able to work on-site in Durham, NC 3 days per week.
