Job Description

The Project Manager Standalone Services oversees solar service projects, ensuring timely, budget-friendly, and high-quality completion through financial management, scheduling, operational coordination, and customer communication within the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee financial performance and tracking of solar service projects to ensure alignment with budgets and contracts
  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules, coordinating milestones, workforce, and materials
  • Serve as primary communication point for customers, providing project updates and managing expectations
  • Coordinate project mobilization and demobilization, including logistics and workforce scheduling
  • Ensure compliance with QA QC standards and conduct inspections to validate work quality
  • Manage on-site operations, resolving challenges to maintain project efficiency
  • Maintain safety standards and implement continuous improvement measures

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of project management experience in solar services, renewable energy, or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of DC remediation, wire management, and QA QC inspections in solar energy.
  • Experience managing PO-based projects, including financial tracking and reporting.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software such as MS Excel, Procore, and Smartsheet.
  • Strong skills in customer communication, problem-solving, and logistics coordination.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced field environment.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA and solar industry safety standards.
