Job Description

The CI Associate at Cypress Creek Renewables supports process improvement initiatives by assisting with process mapping, SOP development, KPI tracking, and governance activities, working closely with leadership to enhance operational efficiency in a renewable energy environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support facilitation of Kaizen events and process mapping workshops
  • Assist in drafting SOPs, developing KPIs, and preparing audit materials
  • Track adoption of CI initiatives and ensure follow-through on actions
  • Provide analytical and documentation support for process improvement projects
  • Contribute to governance cadences and maintain KPI dashboards
  • Learn and apply Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 2 to 4 years of professional experience exposure to Continuous Improvement (CI), Lean, or process improvement is strongly preferred.
  • Experience or background in energy industry, including IPP, utility, OEM, or EPC, is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and proactively across functions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Work environment preferred as Durham, NC with a hybrid schedule of 3 days in office per week.
