Job Description

The Senior Machine Training and Analytics Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving workforce training programs for machinists in a turbine engine component repair environment, utilizing data analysis and mentorship to enhance skills, safety, and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve training and workforce development programs for the Machine Department.
  • Develop structured technical training frameworks including onboarding, on-the-job training, apprenticeships, and early career development.
  • Mentor, coach, and support machinists, trainers, supervisors, and managers to enhance skill development and shop performance.
  • Identify skill gaps and workforce capability issues to create targeted training and cross-training strategies.
  • Establish and maintain training governance, including curricula, competency models, documentation, and compliance records.
  • Analyze training data, performance trends, and rework indicators to evaluate program effectiveness and inform improvements.
  • Communicate training outcomes and workforce insights to leadership for operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Build and manage external talent pipelines through partnerships with vocational and technical programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in education or a related field such as learning and development, human resources, or organizational management.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of work related experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of training experience in a manufacturing setting, with demonstrated experience in or working knowledge of the setup, operation, and administration of manufacturing based learning and development programs.
  • Working knowledge of multiple disciplines within manual and CNC machining environments.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and learning management systems (LMS) used in training and development environments.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Familiarity with shop math principles and basic trigonometry.
  • Ability to work standing and/or sitting for extended hours.
  • Follow general shop safety procedures including the occasional use of safety glasses, safety toe shoes, and hearing protection.
  • Position is primarily based on-site, with occasional off-site meetings as required.
  • Pre-employment testing requirements that may include fitness for duty testing and a vision exam.
  • Must be able to use powered and hand-held tools occasionally.
