Job Description

The On-Site Recruiting Manager oversees the recruitment department, leading a team to develop and execute full-cycle hiring strategies, coordinate with hiring managers, and ensure a smooth hiring process to meet the company's staffing needs in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Recruiting Department and oversee internal and external personnel on-site.
  • Establish and communicate recruitment objectives and strategies to the team.
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract top talent and manage job postings and applications.
  • Lead, train, and monitor recruiters to ensure best practices and performance goals are met.
  • Optimize the recruitment process by monitoring key metrics like time-to-fill and cost-per-hire.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and develop sourcing and interviewing plans.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and legal regulations in hiring practices.
  • Build professional networks through job fairs and industry relationships.
  • Administer the full cycle recruiting process, including posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offers.
  • Coordinate on-site interviews, candidate travel, and feedback documentation.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to ensure seamless hiring processes.
  • Motivate, coach, and counsel team members to achieve recruitment goals.
  • Manage personnel work hours, shift schedules, and time off to meet operational needs.
  • Conduct performance reviews, employee development, and handle conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources or related field or an equivalent level of job experience in a full cycle recruiting process.
  • Five years experience in the field of recruitment in a manufacturing or similar environment.
  • Familiarity with social media, resume databases and professional networks.
  • Previous experience or knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • An understanding of various positions within a manufacturing company.
  • Experience in a FAA or DOT industry is desired.
  • Recruitment experience in the military and college areas.
  • A knowledge of employment and labor laws.
  • Read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
