Job Description
The Manager, Interconnection is responsible for managing and coordinating the generation interconnection process for renewable energy projects, including application submissions, study agreements, negotiations, and stakeholder communications, to support the development and construction of solar, energy storage, and natural gas facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, coordinate, and lead the generation interconnection process for renewable energy projects.
- Coordinate application submissions, study agreements, and milestone tracking with utilities and stakeholders.
- Support project development, acquisition, and financing activities through interconnection process management.
- Participate in stakeholder forums and communicate industry changes to management.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Land Acquisition, Engineering, Permitting, EPC, Operations) to develop project pipelines.
- Manage consultant and service provider activities related to interconnection.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years professional experience, preferably in the renewable energy industry.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Office, including advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Experience with project management software.
- Ability to work in the Dana Point, Salt Lake City, or Lake Oswego office a minimum of 3 days per week.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
