Job Description
A Production Welder responsible for performing in-house welding of high-field superconducting magnets in a fast-paced, innovative environment, working overnight shifts on weekends. The role involves contributing to the development of fusion energy technology at Commonwealth Fusion Systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manufacturing in-house welding work for high-field superconducting magnets
Requirements
- Experience performing manufacturing in-house welding work, specifically for high-field superconducting magnets.
- Ability to work the scheduled hours from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday nights.
- Willingness to work on a weekend night shift schedule (Saturday, Sunday, and Monday nights).
- Possession of welding skills and knowledge sufficient to perform manufacturing welding tasks for advanced technological components.
- Compliance with U.S. laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information, specifically Export Control Laws.
Benefits & Perks
Compensation rate of $30 - $41 per hour
Work schedule: Saturday, Sunday, Monday nights (6:00 pm - 6:00 am)
